چکیده

Despite the growing interest in possible applications of computer science and artificial intelligence (AI) field neurocritical care (neuro-ICU), widespread clinical are still missing. In neuro-ICU, collection analysis real time large datasets can play a crucial role advancing this medical improving personalized patient care. For example, AI algorithms detect subtle changes brain activity or vital signs, alerting clinicians to potentially life-threatening conditions facilitating rapid intervention. Consequently, data-driven predictive analytics greatly enhance decision making, diagnosis, treatment, ultimately leading better outcomes for patients. Nevertheless, there is significant disparity between current capabilities systems potential benefits that could be achieved with more advanced technologies. This gap usually indicated as chasm. paper, underlying causes chasm neuro-ICU analyzed, along proposed recommendations utilizing attain competitive edge, foster innovation, outcomes. To bridge divide care, it collaboration among researchers, clinicians, policymakers, focus on specific use cases. Additionally, strategic investments technology, education training, infrastructure needed unlock technology. Before implementing technology essential conduct thorough studies establish validation real-world environments ensure its effectiveness safety. Finally, development ethical regulatory frameworks mandatory secure efficient deployment throughout process.

Crossing the Chasm

Traditional computer interfaces often create a separation between physical and digital spaces. This prevents people from working as easily in virtual worlds as they do in the real world, or from moving seamlessly between reality and virtual reality. In this paper we describe how this chasm can be crossed though the use of an interface metaphor, Tangible Augmented Reality, that combines elements...

Crossing the quality chasm.

In 1999, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) issued a seminal report: Ensuring the Quality of Cancer Care. The researchers identified gaps in care and concluded that many US cancer patients did not receive the care known to be most effective for their disease. The findings surprised many oncologists because of the tremendous advances we were making in our scientific knowledge of cancer. It demonstr...

Crossing the Structure Chasm

It has frequently been observed that most of the world’s data lies outside database systems. The reason is that database systems focus on structured data, leaving the unstructured realm to others. The world of unstructured data has several very appealing properties, such as ease of authoring, querying and data sharing. In contrast, authoring, querying and sharing structured data require signifi...

Crossing the language chasm.

The quality of communication between patients and clinicians can have a major impact on health outcomes, and limited English proficiency can interfere with effective communication. More than ten million U.S. residents speak English poorly or not at all, constituting a language chasm in the health care system. This paper reviews the evidence on the link between linguistic competence and health c...

Functional Programming - Crossing The Chasm?

Once again the computing community is coming to appreciate the expressive power of functional programming (FP) [1, 2]. Technical gatherings are buzzing with talk and, of course, debates about Haskell, Lisp/Scheme, Erlang and their younger hybrid cousins O’Caml, Scala, F# and Clojure. At the same time, popular OO languages Java and C# are being extended to support functional constructs with even...
